Fedora 11使用root用户登录到X

Fedora 11默认与10一样，在X界面下无法使用root用户登录。而且在Fedora 10中开启root用户登录的解决办法在11下已经行不通了。

其实只要我们稍作修改即可解决，已经亲自测试可以，具体方法如下：

Fedora 11使用root用户登录X需要以下两步操作，而Fedora 10只需要第一步。

打开终端：

1.  gedit /etc/pam.d/gdm
    注释掉
    #auth       required    pam_succeed_if.so user != root quiet

2.  gedit /etc/pam.d/gdm-password
    注释掉
    #auth        required   pam_succeed_if.so user != root quiet

搞定。现在你可以再Fedora 11下使用root用户登录了。见图5

    多出这一步干嘛？对于使用都只是多一条命令而已。

    2. gedit /etc/pam.d/gdm-password

    用root登录后，点 Add/Remove Sofeware，

    报错:
    Package installer is running as a privileged user
    Running graphical applications as a privileged user should be avoid for security reasons.
    Package management applications are security sensitive and therefore this application will now close
    （普通用户正常）
